The 2022 QBE Shootout will be held in Naples, Florida. Ten two-player teams will compete in this postseason exhibition over the course of three days beginning on Friday at Tiburón Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort. In what will be the 34th iteration of the legendary QBE Shootout, two LPGA women will compete with PGA Tour players for the first time in the history of the event.
World No. 1 Nelly Korda will team up with Denny McCarthy, and World No. 7 Lexi Thompson will team up with Maverick McNealy. Both of these pairings will take place in what will be the legendary QBE Shootout.
The competition that will take place in Naples this week will feature ten golfers who are ranked in the top fifty in the world, with Max Homa, who is ranked No. 16, being the highest-ranked player in the field. This competition consists of three rounds, each of which follows a unique structure. The first round, which takes place on Friday, is a scramble, the second round is a modified alternate shot, and the third and final round is a four-ball.
As of Tuesday evening, Jason Day and Billy Horschel, who are competing against one another in this competition for the first time, are the favorites to win at a price of +500. At the same time, the odds for four different teams range anywhere from +600 to +650.

The Gold Course at Tiburón Golf Club was designed by Greg Norman and measures approximately 7,382 yards. The course has a par of 72. Participants are tasked with navigating a course that is set in the natural environment of Southwest Florida and features challenging coquina bunkers in addition to towering sod-wall bunkers.
The Bermuda greens will be friendlier than the majority of the courses that these golfers see on a regular basis, and I believe that a good number of them take advantage of this throughout the day. The course is set up to be played in the style of a typical resort.

Brian Harman/Sepp Straka (+850)
Brian Harman, who finished tied for sixth at the Open Championship and tied for third at the FedEx St. Jude’s to close out the previous season, already has two tied for second finishes in events that have been played in November and is playing as well as anyone in the world right now in terms of his golf game. Additionally, he has had success at this venue, as he and his teammate from that year, Patton Kizzirie, took first place in the 2018 competition.
As for Sepp Straka, the Austrian golfer is starting to get back some of the shots that brought him success in the middle of the previous season, and he overcame a slow finish to 2022 and a slow start to 2023 with a tie for tenth place at the Hero World Challenge just a week ago. Expect the self-assurance of Harman to be the deciding factor in this competition, despite the fact that he will be making his first appearance at this event.
